COMMUNITY NOTICE BOARD – IMPORTANT!

Participants who wish to collaborate with others [or who have materials to donate or are willing to share transport and expenses] will be able to communicate with each other through a ‘community notice board’ –WIKKIA is your  Afrika Burns online noticeboard.

Please avail yourself of this service – AFRIKA BURNS is all about community and this is where we communicate with each other! We can only assist each other if we know what others are planning.

Although there is NO branding or visible advertising at AFRIKA BURNS (nor links on the website), the WIKKIA site is where you can offer your services to the community

Post your offers with links to your websites – hiring of tents, discounted transport of heavy equipment, cheap trailer hire, pre-arranged and paid-for catering, affordable generators etc.

If you are a manufacturer of goods that might be of use to AFRIKA BURNS participants – perhaps you might like to DONATE remnants or offcuts, shop-soiled items – the stuff that usually ends up in a skip might be hugely valued and appreciated!

And if you are particularly good at something – perhaps sewing? - you can sew somebody else’s costume if they provide the fabric for your own, or if you offer to provide raw ingredients another participant might offer to cook your meals for you... the possibilities of collaboration and collusion are endless!
